Title: 密碼與生活(for audiences with undergraduate study)

First, I will give an introduction of Cryptography and the development of Cryptography from ancient time to modern time. Public-key concept will be introduced and related to the importance of Network Security. I will then introduce the “Art in Cryptography” to explore properties existed in most popular cryptographic schemes currently.

I will briefly review my life experience and lessons learned so far. An interesting story learned from the Chair ofAsiaCrypt 2003, Prof. Laih, in 2004 aboutHobbywill be discussed. The importance of choosing a hobby in life will be addressed.

The conversation with a retired professor majoring in Chinese in 2010 on the subject ofArt in Chinese Paintingwill be introduced. This conversation has changed my life since then. Chinese writing has become my hobby.
